      JKD is a hybrid martial art that was founded by Bruce Lee throughout his martial arts career, though JKD is better known from 1967 to 1973. Though Jeet Kune Do draws influence from a variety of different styles it is ultimately based on Bruce Lee’s own research and development of his own unique fighting structure and techniques thereon.
